"Last year, at least 20 Siberian tiger cubs and 15 Siberian leopard cubs were born in the Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park, and the range of activities of the Northeast Tiger and Leopard population was further expanded." Feng Limin, deputy director of the center, said.

According to the latest monitoring data, there are about 70 wild Amur tigers and 80 wild Amur leopards living in the park. Behind the Tiger Whistling Forest and the Leopard Leaping Castle Peak is the Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park, which continues to protect wildlife and restore the habitat of the Northeast Tiger and Leopard.

On the 10th, the draft national park law was first submitted to the the National People’s Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) meeting for deliberation. This is the first time that China has made special legislation on national parks at the national level.
